Pervious Concrete is a unique mixture of concrete in which the fine aggregate, or sand, is all but eliminated, thus allowing water to permeate the hardened concrete. By allowing storm water runoff to filter through the concrete and into the ground, Pervious Concrete helps replenish ground water supplies while eliminating the need for large retention ponds on jobsites. Pervious Concrete is an excellent way to earn LEED credit points, save money, and maximize development space. Parking lots and paving are the most common applications for pervious concrete.
